Date of birth: July 26, 1936, Cumberland, Maryland.

Date of Death: January 2, 2009 in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Earl was the husband of Mary A. Ellis and the beloved father of 6 daughters who survived him: Elizabeth Anne, Mary Patricia, Elaine Frances, Amy Florence, Carolyn Louise, and Suzanne Marie.

He left behind 10 grandchildren who all knew him as "PapPap": Angelique & Alex Viles, Rick (little Ricky) & Nina Cutter, Brinton Devens, Jessica and Nichole Hawkins, Brooke Boinis, Daniel & Rachel Parks.

Earl worked for the B&O Railroad, the Chessie System, and the CSX Railroad.  He was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps, 3rd Regiment of Platoon 346 @ Camp Geiger, Paris Island, SC. Following his discharge, Earl became a lifelong  member of the American Legion, Post No. 13 in Cumberland. 

Earl was known for his infectious laugh and his irreverant and sarcastic sense of humor.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
