Earl was the husband of Mary A. Ellis and the beloved father of 6 daughters
who survived him: Elizabeth Anne, Mary Patricia, Elaine Frances, Amy Florence,
Carolyn Louise, and Suzanne Marie.
He left behind 10 grandchildren who all knew him as "PapPap":
Angelique & Alex Viles, Rick (little Ricky) & Nina Cutter, Brinton
Devens, Jessica and Nichole Hawkins, Brooke Boinis, Daniel & Rachel Parks.
Earl worked for the B&O Railroad, the Chessie System, and the CSX Railroad.
He was honorably discharged from
the United States Marine Corps, 3rd Regiment of Platoon 346 @ Camp Geiger,
Paris Island, SC. Following his discharge, Earl became a lifelong member of the American Legion, Post No.
13 in Cumberland.
